Dataset description

This table contains data on the number of deceased among the population of the Netherlands per week. The data can be broken down according to the personal characteristics: age and gender and by Wlz use, sector of care gravity package and delivery form care. The week numbering held follows the standard NEN2772 (ISO 8601), with the week starting on Monday and the first week in the year that has four or more days in that year. This may result in a few days of the first week in the previous calendar year, and/or a few days of the last week in the following calendar year. As a result, the weekly figures do not add up to the annual figures also presented in this table. Data available from: 2015 Status of the figures: The figures for the years 2015 to 2020 are final. Because the method differs from the method used for the figures on CBS StatLine, there may be small differences. These differences are caused by a different handling of fulfilled data. This may also mean small differences with previously published customisations. The figures from 2121 to 2022 are provisional in nature. These figures may change with any renewal of the publication by counting obituaries received later. Because this method differs from the method used for mortality figures on CBS StatLine, there may be small differences. Amendments 12 August 2022: The preliminary figures for week 30 of 2022 have been added. When are new figures coming? New figures are added weekly to this table. Once a week, preliminary figures of the week before the current week number minus one are included in this publication.
