Dataset description

This table provides information on the regional labour market situation of young people aged 15 to 27 in the Netherlands. This indicates whether young people work whether or not they are in education and whether they receive a benefit. For young people in employment, a distinction is made between workers and the self-employed. The reporting period shall be October of the reference year. Whether someone is in education is determined on the basis of an enrolment in the education funded by the government on 1 October of the reference year. The municipalities are divided according to the situation on 1 January 2013. In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to this topic. The topics are called indicators. Data available from 2005 to 2011. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 28 January 2015 None, this table has been discontinued When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. Figures for the newer years are included in the Labour market situation table for young people (15 to 27 years old); region 2014, see paragraph 3.
