Third-country nationals; obligation to and demonstrable departure, wet. 2015-2021

This table contains figures on the number of third-country nationals against whom a return decision has been issued. This table concerns third-country nationals who no longer have the right to reside in the Netherlands and have received a return decision with the obligation to leave the Netherlands within a specified period. The time of issuing the return decision is independent of the moment when a demonstrable departure took place. Third-country nationals are persons of a nationality other than those of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. Stateless people are also counted among the third-country nationals. The data were compiled for Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Data available from: 2015. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2020 are final and the figures for 2021 are provisional. Changes as of November 2022: None, this table has been discontinued.
