Dataset description

The Trade Register registers all companies, legal entities and other organisations that participate in economic and social traffic in the Netherlands. A number of (visit) addresses in the HR are not or incorrectly related to the BAG. This dataset is supplemented by an estimate of the correct BAG address. These addresses are marked along with an indication of how far the estimated address differs from the original address. The HR is free to consult via consultation facilities of the ([KvK](https://www.kvk.nl/zoeken/handelsregister/)) and for example those of Amsterdam. However, automatic couplings are not free of charge. Some addresses have an indication that the address should not appear in bulk queries. This prevents the HR from being used for mass mailings, for example. The following data are protected and may only be requested (within the municipality of Amsterdam) by authorised employees of Amsterdam: Natural person (official), private address (official), BSN, gender. The data from the Trade Register come from a local municipal copy of the Chamber of Commerce (Court of Commerce) and run a maximum of one week behind. For the most up-to-date data, please refer to the Chamber of Commerce’s consultation facility.
