Dataset description

This table contains, for the transport, storage and communication sector, the following results: number of companies, employed persons and employees, operating income, operating income and expenses, financial result, balance provisions and extraordinary result and subdivisions thereof. In the table the data can be broken down to a number of branches. The number of companies operating on 1 January of the the report was “economically active”. These are companies where one or more people work 15 hours or more per week. This means that companies where less worked was not involved in the study. All other results in the table refer to all companies that were economically active during the reporting year. Data available for the years 2000 to 2005. Frequency: discontinued Status of the figures: All the figures in the table are final. Changes as of 15 October 2008: This table does not go beyond results for the reporting year 2005. The statistical analysis that forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a large number of changes for the year 2006. For example, the questionnaire used by companies in connection with the investigation to be submitted, substantially modified. It is also the population of companies, which describe the study, have changed significantly as a result of a redesign of the CBS General Business Register. By under these changes are not the results of the year 2006. similar to previous years. That’s why CBS has selected to start with a new table with results from the reporting year 2006, see paragraph 3.
