Dataset description

Trees owned by the municipality of Zwartewaterland. It also contains special trees, such as monumental and valuable trees.<div></div><div>Per tree is also known (the subsurface where the tree is located), the phase in which a tree is located, the tree species in Dutch and Latin just like the year in which the tree was built.</div><div></div><div></div><div>The stage in which a tree is located is in the book ‘tree work. Costs and technology 2019’ summarised as follows.</div><div>Young = These are young trees, where guidance pruning is applied.</div><div> Accompaniment pruning is aimed at achieving the branch-free stem length and achieving a good structure and shape of the crown. These trees are pruned with the stick saw.Halfwax = In this phase there is still accompaniment pruning, but now not with stick saw, but with the aerial work platforms. At the end of this care phase, the tree has reached almost its final height. The accompaniment pruning is then practically completed: the branch-free stem length has been reached. What remains is the permanent crown.Volwas = The tree hardly grows in height and places the emphasis on latitude growth and reproduction. In this phase there is maintenance pruning with the aerial work platform.End phase = In the final phase, a tree is characterised by reduced growth and a reduced response to injuries and damage. At this stage there is maintenance pruning, but also safety pruning (in connection with dead wood). This is done with an aerial platform.Source: ‘Tree work. Costs and technology 2019’.</div>
