Dataset description

This table shows the number and proportion of persons aged 18 or over who, in the reporting year, uses at least one tailor-made provision financed by the Social Support Act — 2015 (Wmo-2015), for which an own contribution is payable, and which is registered by the Central SAAT (the CAK). Municipalities have the freedom to offer Wmo care as general or tailor-made services and whether or not to apply for their own contribution. The CAK only records tailor-made facilities for which an own contribution is requested. As a result, the choice of municipalities has an impact on the care recorded by the CAK and on the figures based on it. The use of WMO customisation facilities for which an own contribution is requested may therefore differ between the municipality and the period in this table. Registrations concerning protected living are submitted to the CAK from the central municipalities. Customised services within the Wmo-2015 are delivered to clients as care in kind (phrase) or through a personal budget (pgb). As of 2020, the subscription fee has been introduced, which means that all persons who use Wmo care other than accommodation or care pay a uniform contribution. For accommodation and reception, Wmo clients will continue to pay a low or high own contribution in 2020. As a result of the transition to the subscription rate, the CAK will no longer collect data on type of customised provision and delivery form for WMO care at home as of 2020, so that the use for this type of care is no longer disaggregated by type of tailor-made provision and delivery form. The table contains only persons registered in the Basic Registration Persons (BRP) in the reporting year. The figures are broken down by gender, age category, the form in which care is provided (until 2020), the type of tailor-made provision (until 2020), the type of household and region. Data available from 2015 onwards Status of the figures: The figures for the last year are provisional, the figures for previous years are definitive. Changes as of 8 February 2022: 2020 figures have been added and 2019 figures have been finalised. Due to the transition to the subscription rate for Wmo care at home, the use for this type of care can no longer be disaggregated by type of customisation, such as support at home. To keep an eye on Wmo-zorg at home, completely exclusive accommodation and care has been added. The delivery form ‘delivery form unknown’ has also been added, because since the transition to the subscription rate for Wmo-zorg at home in 2020, there is no longer any breakdown by type of delivery form. When will there be new figures? The provisional figures shall be published no later than 12 months after the end of the reporting year. When new annual figures are published, the figures for the previous year become definitive.
