Vacancies; profession, region

This table contains figures for vacancies published on the internet in the Netherlands and Belgium. A breakdown by profession (main professional group and profession field) and region is available for the different classifications. The Competent classification was used as used by the Flemish Employment Agency (VDAB) and of which the UWV develops a Dutch version. The figures are compiled on the basis of Index Advertsdata, edited by VDAB and CBS. All vacancies that have been open during a month are counted here. The vacancy numbers published here differ from the vacancy figures published by UWV, VDAB or CBS because it uses different source data than usual. The status of this information is that this is experimental data. On the one hand, the vacancy data of Advertsdata is not of optimal quality. On the other hand, the Dutch version of Competent is still in full development. This information was compiled in the context of an Interreg project within the Flanders-Netherlands programme to make cross-border labour market data available.
