This file contains the visual spheres of influence of weeds and weed villages, located within the province of Groningen. The province of Groningen thinks it is important that the view and the recognizability of weeds and weed villages are preserved. The quality of this characteristic can be affected by cultivation and planting on and in the vicinity of these weeds. Therefore, zones are designated around weeds and weed villages in which municipalities are asked to take into account in their zoning plans the sight of and the recognizability of weeds and weed villages. Rules for this are laid down in the Provincial Regulation 2016.
