Dataset description

Short description table: This table provides data on the yield of the water board levies. Water authorities impose these levies in order to finance their activities. The main tasks of water boarding are the prevention of flood defences. floods), water management (providing the right water level for agriculture, nature, residents) and care for water quality. Some water boards also manage roads and waterways. The figures are collected by the water boards for their own purpose a budgetary comparator it’s an investigation. Until 2000 the figures were collected by means of a CBS survey. Data available from 1995 to 2008. Frequency: discontinued Status of the figures: The figures are final. Changes compared to the previous version: A correction was made on 18 February 2009. The proceeds of the resident change and the pollution charge for households for 2007 2008 has been corrected. Of these charges were wrongly net revenue recognised. This means that account has been taken of possible reductions due to remissions. All other amounts the table shows the total of the charges imposed (the gross yields). The corrections for 2007 and 2008 have been waived amounts added to the net proceeds of these levies. When will there be new figures: The table has been discontinued. Figures on water board levies from 2009 onwards are to be found in the table Water boards; budget, revenue levies 2009.
