Dataset description

KRW sub-basin areas (sub-units) Netherlands. The Netherlands has not designated sub-units for the river basin management plans 2015-2021. For the Netherlands, for the EU WFD reporting, the sub-units are equal to the river basin districts. Water catchment district: the area of land and sea formed by one or more adjacent river basins with the associated ground and coastal waters, defined as the main river basin management unit in accordance with the Water Framework Directive.
