Well-being in relation to living; characteristics of living

The survey was conducted among persons aged 15 years or older, the figures on well-being relate to the population of the Netherlands aged 18 years or older. This table therefore contains figures on the well-being of the population of the Netherlands aged 18 years or older in terms of happiness and satisfaction with life, the home and the living environment. In addition, security feelings are included. These topics are broken down by various residential and neighbourhood characteristics, namely the property ownership, the value of the home and the urbanity of the neighborhood. Data available from: 2013 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 1 June 2022: The 2021 annual figures have been added. Previous changes: The figures on feelings of insecurity have been replaced by figures from another source. These were formerly from the Safety Monitor and now from the study Social cohesion and well-being. The reason for this is that the Safety Monitor has become a biennial survey from 2018 onwards and Social cohesion and well-being is an annual survey. When are new figures coming? Figures for reporting year 2022 are published in mid-2023.
