Dataset description

This table deals with benefits and charges per function (policy area) by region and municipal size class in millions of euros and euro per inhabitant. This table only includes functions that include activities as described in the Social Support Act (WMO) 2015 and the Youth Act. The figures presented are based on data that correspond to the definitions and classifications used by the municipalities themselves in their administration. These data are provided to the CBS through the Third Party Information Survey (Iv3). The rules for this survey are laid down in the Ministerial Regulation on Information for Third Parties. Data available from: 2017 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are provisional at first publication. If changes occur, this is due to the availability of new or updated data. In general, the adjustments are small in size. The adjustments are made when a new year is added to the series. Budgetary figures shall be recorded in the first quarter of the reporting year. Implementation figures based on annual accounts are published five quarters after the end of the reporting year. Changes as of 1 April 2022: The 2021 budget figures have been finalised and the provisional budget figures 2022 have been added. When will there be new figures? Final budget figures 2022 and preliminary budget figures 2023 shall be published in the first quarter of 2023. Final 2020 and provisional realisations 2021 will be published in the first quarter of 2023.
