WMO clients in 2017 using Wlz in 2018; age, gender and income

This table shows the number and proportion of clients who have used care under the Social Support Act (Wmo) and which in the reporting year (t) uses contributory care financed under the Long Term Care Act (Wlz). It concerns clients who received a Wmo tailor-made arrangement excluding Stay and Reception in the calendar year before the reporting year (t-1). Persons receiving partner accommodation or using Wlz care on the basis of one of the subsidy schemes are excluded. These are only persons aged 18 and over who are registered in the Basic Data Registration (BRP) during the previous year (t-1). This table does not only cover the number of clients who only received support from the Wmo in the previous year and entered the Wlz in the current year. The figures in the table also include individuals with a combination of Wmo and Wlz care in the previous year. In the case of the confluence of Wmo and Wlz care, these are mainly Wmo registrations for transport facilities. The number of clients entered from Wmo in the Wlz in year (t) is distinguished by clients using Wlz in (t-1) and clients without using Wlz in (t-1). The figures are available by municipality (region 2018) and can be broken down by gender, age category and household income. Status of the figures: The figures are final. Amendments as of 14 October 2022: — In the subjects, the number of clients entered from Wmo in the Wlz in year (t) distinguishes between clients using Wlz in (t-1) and, on the other hand, clients without using Wlz in (t-1). The most recent population data has been used in this redesign. As a result, the figures have been adjusted by less than 0.1 percent. — The table has been discontinued. Changes as of 9 November 2021: — The table explanatory notes and method description have been modified because the table title has been adjusted. The original title (Client Wmo home year t-1; inflow Wlz year t; region year t-1) led to incorrect interpretation of the figures. This table covers both clients who received support from the Wmo only in the previous year and those who received both Wmo support and Wlz care in the previous year. Of the total number of clients in the municipalities for which Wmo registrations are available, the share of clients who did not use Wlz care in the previous year is around 20 percent.
