Dataset description

This table provides regional information on the number of young people who have received one or more forms of provincially funded youth care during the year and the corresponding number of days received from youth care. The provincially funded youth care can be divided into forms of youth care provided by the Youth Care Offices and by organisations Youth and Educational Assistance. In this table, young people who have received different forms of youth care during the year are included in each of those forms of youth care. The (sub)totals for all forms of care therefore do not correspond to the sum of the underlying forms of care. Youth care agencies themselves provide specific forms of youth care. In addition, the Youth Care Offices also issue indicative decisions, giving young people access to the youth care provided by Youth and Educational Assistance organisations. Information on indicative decisions is not included in this table. Young people can stay in multiple places during the year, but are assigned to one municipality in this table. The classification by municipality was made on the basis of the young person’s actual residence, based on the renewed residence principle as it will be applied in the Youth Act, which will enter into force from 2015. Data available from 2011 to 2014 Status of the figures: The most recent figures in this table are preliminary. As this table has been discontinued, the figures for 2014 are no longer definitive. Changes as of 14 February 2018: No, no, no. This table has been discontinued. Figures on youth care from 2015 will be published in separate tables (see paragraph 3). When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
