Dataset description

This table provides information on the number of young people who received youth care (youth assistance, youth protection and/or rehabilitation) in 2015 and the number of pathways in which this youth care was provided. The data on young people are divided by age and the composition of the household at the start of care. The youth care programmes are divided by perspective and referrer. The data is also divided by municipality and district. The division by municipality and district is based on the address of the young person’s authority. The principle of residence was based on the principle of residence as applied in the Youth Act, which entered into force from 2015. When the address has changed during the reporting period, the younger person will be assigned the most recent address in this table. In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to this topic. The topics are called indicators. Data available for 2015. Figures by municipality and district will appear in a new table each year. Figures for 2016 can be found via the link ‘Tabellen Youth Care after 1-1-2015’ in paragraph 3. Status of the figures: All figures are final. Changes as of 2 February 2017: This table has been discontinued. Changes as of 20 January 2017: A small improvement has been made for the number of youth care programmes per district and per municipality. The figures on the number of young people remain unchanged. Due to the calculation of data at district level, a small part of the sections without postcode was assigned to a municipality in a slightly different way than in the other tables on the Youth Policy Information. That’s right now. The differences are minimal. Changes as of 31 October 2016: The already definitive figures for the first quarter of 2015 and for the first half of 2015 have been replaced by revised figures. The most important part of this revision is a change in the way in which trajectories are dedoubled when collecting data for the two half years within one calendar year. A smaller impact in the revision is due to some information provided for the second half of 2015, which sometimes also had a small impact on the figures for the first half of 2015. Changes as of 19 May 2016: In the previous version, 10 districts were mistakenly mentioned too much without any further information. These districts have now been removed. When are new figures coming? None, this table has been discontinued. Figures for 2016 have been published in a new table. This can be found via the link “Tabellen Youth Care after 1-1-2015” in paragraph 3.
