Dataset description

This table contains figures on the number of young people receiving youth care according to the funding forms Care in Natura (ZIN) and Personal budget (PGB). Young people are also shown as a percentage of the total number of young people. The numbers of young people can be divided by age and gender and by the responsible municipality according to the residence principle Youth. The addition of the number of young people over multiple forms of youth care within a (sub)total can be greater than the (sub)total itself. A young person may have multiple pathways with different forms of youth care, but for each form of care or (sub)total, a young person only counts once. Data available from 2015 to 2017 Section 4 provides more information on issues affecting comparability over time of the figures in this table. Status of the figures: All figures are final. New figures are no longer added due to discontinuation of this table. Changes as of 7 November 2018: This table has been discontinued. Changes as of 31 October 2018: The labels for the relative figures on the number of young people with youth protection and probation have been adjusted. These now correspond to the calculated percentages shown in relation to the total number of young people between 0 and 23 years old. Changes as of 30 April 2018: In previous publications, it was possible to select Corop areas while no data were present. From now on, Corop areas can no longer be selected. Changes as of 23 June 2017: The preliminary figures for 2016 have been corrected. Due to a technical error, the data of some youth care providers were not properly processed. The impact of this correction on the total number of youth assistance programmes and young people with youth assistance is minimal. In most cases, the differences are also negligible in the case of youth assistance and regions. Only in the South Limburg region in the form of ‘nursing care’ and ‘ambulatory assistance in the youth network’ are the effects greater, because the clients of the youth care providers in question live in that region in particular. When are new figures coming? None, this table has been discontinued. The table is largely followed up by the tables ‘Corner figures on youth care’ and ‘Youth with youth care’; personal characteristics, volume’. See the links in paragraph 3.
