Dataset description

The BRT background map is derived from TOP10NL from the Basic Registration Topography (BRT). The BRT background map is available in four different themes: standard, grey, pastel and water. As of April 2021, the rest of the world will be transparently displayed. This makes it possible to place a different, international map layer of your choice ‘under’ the BRT background card, so that the map image crosses the border. The BRT background map is unlocked in the projections: EPSG 28992 (RD), EPSG 25831 (ETRS89 UTM zone 31N) and EPSG 3857 (WGS84 WebMercator).
