Building on weak ground — Thickness holocene package

This dataset concerns the depth of the pleistocene package (which can be based on) relative to the ground level in meters. This dataset, together with three other datasets (reliability TNO maps, setting sensitivity (slapped soil) and bursting sheet wall) provides the information to determine the suitability of the subsurface for building on weak soil and underground construction and is part of the research report “Suitability maps of the subsurface for construction in North Holland”. All boreholes in TNO’s DINO database, as well as maps of soil and geological structures, were used for the production of the stock.
