This file has data on various types of deposits. The archaeological characteristics are represented on the basis of geological and soil-based structures. These are directly related to the former occupation and exploitation of the area. From old to young, the following deposits are distinguished:
—Zantous deposits such as river dunes or donkeys. The first habitation originated here in the Mesolithic, 8,000 years ago.
—Sea deposits such as beach ramparts or Old Dunes The earliest habitation traces on the dune and beach sands date back to the middle-Neolithic, 6000 to 4000 years ago.
—Geal deposits, current belts and crevasses. The first occupancy traces on the trench deposits/current belts date back to the mid-Neolithic, about 5,000 years ago.
—Comom deposits, clay-like soils. The few habitation traces date back to Roman times, about 2,000 years ago.
—Other deposits Water: Existing water (e.g. sea, rivers, lakes).
