Dataset description

The project Old Paths — New Roads started in 2006 and completed in 2009. It is a partnership between Support Centre Monumentenzorg Fryslân, Landschapsbeheer Friesland, Doarpswurk, Plattelânsprojekten of the Province of Fryslân, the Keuning Institute and the Lectorate Rural Renewal of Van Hall Larenstein. This map shows point locations along already known historical paths in Friesland. The data was collected during workshops in the various regions, based on the knowledge of local residents and interested parties.
