This map shows the calculated fine dust concentrations (PM10) of the last hour. You see especially high concentrations on busy roads and businesses. Some of the fine dust comes from abroad. The concentration is expressed in micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m³). PM10 stands for Particulate Matter, where the particles have a diameter smaller than 10 micrometers.
The values you see are based on calculations. The calculations are calibrated to several measurements in the country. The calculation method used is the Derivative Standard Calculation Method 2, where it is traced back to hourly values.
