This file contains green ribbons that are part of the Monitor Landscape. These green ribbons are monitored every four years. The status of the green ribbons is determined by aerial comparison. The aim is to gain insight into, among other things, the effectiveness of the policy to preserve the lanity, including the green ribbons.Green ribbons are those parts of the road villages where the image is dominated by a combination of road planting and sling gardens, which give the road village a green character. It is sometimes referred to as a tunnel forest. Swing gardens are English landscape-style gardens, which appear as a front garden for monumental farms in East Groningen, Midden Groningen and Noordoost Groningen. Parts of road villages where these plantations are present are indicated on map 6a of the Environmental Ordinance. This file is linked to the stock of monumental heirs of Copijn carried out in Noordoost Groningen, the inventory of farmyards in the Oldambt and the other heirs with sling gardens that are listed by Landschapsbeheer Groningen.
