This is the dataset for the purpose of data provision by INSPIRE for the theme ‘Human health and safety’. This dataset is based on data from BRO-Vptp (From probe to Portal, release 2), which contains relevant groundwater quality data from part of the WFD monitoring programme (i.e.: the subset of Quality Regional) included (KRW = Water Framework Directive). A selection of the data collection in BRO-Vptp is again included in the dataset ‘Found Water Composition Data Framework Directive 2012 under INSPIRE’. Measurements for the WFD are carried out at measuring points recorded in provincial KRW measurement networks. Each parameter shall be defined in the monitoring programme at which frequency a parameter is determined. A collection of measurement results from 1 year forms a measurement round in BRO-Vptp. The dataset “Found Water Composition Data Framework Directive 2012 under INSPIRE” consists of groundwater quality data from the 2012 measurement round. It contains the measurements of laboratory-measured parameters from the monitoring programme based on the WFD. The measurements have been assessed by source holders in accordance with the (RIVM) protocol to determine whether a measurement may be considered representative of the WFD reporting. The name of measured parameters is taken from BRO-Vptp. Parameter names in BRO-Vptp are based on the ‘Aquo parameter list Groundwater quality’. Each measured parameter shall be provided with the measured value (including unit), the day on which the groundwater was sampled and the location of the measuring point. The samples analysed were taken from the first aquifer package (soon) from a well or a source in a measuring network.
