Dataset description

Flat elements of the cultural-historical main structure for the province Drenthe concerning selected higher ridges. These are the Dog'srug, the Rug of Rolde south of Rolde and the Havelterberg. These backs are of great importance in the habitation history of Drenthe, in prehistory they were used to settle and move around. This testifies in particular on the Dog'srug the many hunebeds and burial groups. Cart tracks still bear witness to prehistoric routes over the Hondsrug and the Rug of Rolde.
