Information on redevelopment About 150 former landfills are directly suitable for redevelopment. The other 940 have been redeveloped over time. The suitability of the sites depends on the design plan and the environment of the landfill. Various locations can be made suitable for, for example, solar energy, or the installation of windmills, housing or business parks.
