Locations groundwater abstraction Westland-Oostland

The map only covers the greenhouse horticultural areas Westland and Oostland. Indicated are the sites where groundwater is extracted and water and brine are infiltrated (1 January 2015). The abstraction and infiltration of water usually occurs in the first aquifering package, the discharge of brine into the second aquifering package. The given locations relate only to irrigation water supply. Open and closed soil energy systems are not on this map. The data was obtained via the Omgevingsdienst Haaglanden. For the current status of groundwater abstractions and infiltrations, the water board (groundwater abstraction and rainwater storage) and the municipality (discharge of brine) should be consulted.
