This stock contains a robust system of natural areas, management areas and connecting zones. By linking nature reserves with each other, the chances of survival of animal and plant species are increased. A large number of these nature reserves already exist and are owned by nature conservation organisations. In order to complete the intended network of nature reserves, new nature reserves will also be developed. The new nature reserves have been limited in recent years. These are often areas that still have an agricultural function.
