Dataset description

The map shows how many different pesticides exceed the standard, as a percentage of the total number of substances measured. The redder the dot, the more different fabrics it is. No percentage has been calculated for grey dots. The map comes from the Atlas Pesticides in surface water (www.bestrijdingsmiddelenatlas.nl). This atlas has been financed by the various ministries (IenM and EZ), the Directorate General Water, with the cooperation of UvW, RIVM, Ctgb and Rijkswaterstaat — WVL. The data have been created by the large measurement effort that our Dutch water managers make every year. The data have been collected via IHW. The clients and developers of the pesticide atlas website are not liable for any incorrect or incomplete data (about measurements, standards, land use, etc.) or information in this web service
