Pet heat map Province of Zeeland

In early 2019, the standardised calculation methodology for heat stress was adopted. This card is drawn up according to the standard. The heat stress card shows a feeling temperature, the Physiological Equivalent Temperature (PET) in the outdoor area. For the correct interpretation of the map, it is also important that it is known which ambient temperature has been taken as a starting point. For this purpose, the data of the KNMI station Vlissingen on 1 July 2015 between 12.00 and 18.00 are used. The average temperature over that period is 28.3 degrees Celsius.
