Dataset description

Version of Stiltegebied adopted by Provinciale Statenvan Drenthe on 2 July 2014. In Drenthe, 12 areas have been designated as a quiet area. The Oosterzand area near Uffelte will become a quiet area in the future. The silence in these areas is of provincial importance. The province of Drenthe aims to maintain silence in these areas, by not allowing developments that disturb the peace. The Provincial Environment Regulation Drenthe gives the possibility to grant an exemption for events. It looks at the relationship between the event and the quality of the area. Appears in map 2C: Core quality Rust.
