The Warmtenet Signaling Card identifies the postal code areas (postal code-6) which are equipped with a heat network according to the ‘Gas Area Classification Code’. A heat grid is a set of pipes and installations that transport heat. It consists of a warm and less hot tube with water of about half a meter thick, coupled with a collective heat source. Examples of heat sources are: cogeneration (CHP), domestic waste plants, residual heat from industry and geothermal energy (geothermal energy).
