Within a restricted area, all closed systems are subject to authorisation, including small systems (< 70 kW).
A restricted area shall be designated if it is desirable for that area to establish additional policies to prevent negative interference between soil energy systems, or otherwise to promote the efficient use of soil energy. A restricted area is designated by municipal (and in special cases by provincial) regulation.
The source holders of this data are the provinces and the municipalities. The service associated with this metadata retrieves the supplied areas from the source holders on a daily basis.
Municipalities can use the manual to read how to add their interference areas to the national service. Link to the manual: https://www.bodemplus.nl/onderwerpen/bodem-ondergrond/bodemenergie/publiceren/
