Dataset information
Dataset description
Location information: drilling descriptions and profile descriptions.
A drilling description gives information about the layering and profile characteristics of a location up to a depth of 1 to 2 and partly up to 3 m-mv. The information is collected by experienced soil experts, the characteristics are estimated. There are 280 000 drilling descriptions stored in the Soil Information System.
Profile descriptions: A profile description of a location provides information about the layering and profile characteristics to a depth of 1 to 2 mv. The information is collected by experienced soil experts, the characteristics are estimated and supplemented with analysed data. Profile descriptions are often more extensive than drilling descriptions. 11 500 profile descriptions stored in the Soil Information System (until now a dichotomy has been made for these profiles in BIS profiles and LSK profiles)
Information about: Location (X and Y coordinate, land use), rootable depth, Average Highest and Lowest Groundwater level (GHG and GLG), Translation layer information to soil type, Start and end depth of the layer, Composition of the layer (% organic matter, % lutum, % loam and sand coarseness, lime, peat species), Influence of the layer by soil-forming processes (grounded top soil, podzol B @-@ horizont, etc.)
Even more for the profile descriptions: Sample storage number (of many sampled horizons, a physical sample is stored in the round sample archive so that additional provisions can be made in the future),
Data analysed on one or more of the following aspects:
O % organic matter and grain size distribution
O pH and CaCO3
O soil fertility characteristics (Pw @-@ get. P-to, C/N, etc.)
O physical characteristics (permeability, moisture fractions, density, etc.)
O Adsorption and fixation (Fosfaat @-@ fixation, K @-@ fixation, P @-@ ox, Fe @-@ ox, Al @-@ ox, etc.)
O total contents (total Fe2O3, K, Na, Ca, etc.)
O Heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Axis, Cr, Hg, Ni, Zn)
O Soil moisture composition
