Dataset description

Dwellings within noise zone of 50 dB(A) Letmal of sunned industrial sites and the homes with a higher limit value or a Maximum Permissible Sound Load (MTG). If a noise zone of 50 dB applies to an industrial site, the noise load outside the zone shall not exceed 50 dB. This concerns the cumulated noise load of all facilities on the site. Within the zone, a ‘higher value procedure’ may allow a higher noise load (higher value) on homes and other noise-sensitive buildings or noise-sensitive areas. This increase is possible up to a maximum waiver value: 55 dB for new construction and 60 dB for existing homes. The higher value is determined and recorded per home.
