This dataset consists of the following layers:
— HydroObject/surface water body
— Bank
— Profile Defense
— Water storage area
— Water part
The data is structured according to the Water Information Model (IMWA), part of the Aquo standard. More information can be found on the Aquo website. The data is provided in Geopackage format in the RD-New coordinate system.
The data comes from the individual water boards, but is delivered via PDOK as a single country-covering file. Individual water boards offer their current data for this via the ‘Central Distribution Layer’ (CDL) of Het Waterschapshuis. All water boards are connected to this facility, but not every water board yet supplies the complete set of data.
For information on the content of the data, please contact the relevant water board. This can be recognised by the water board code that is included as a feature for each object in the dataset. For general information about the dataset and origin via the CDL, please contact Het Waterschapshuis at [email protected].
