Dataset description

Shows periods with exceptions from membership based on choice of law assessments in accordance with EEA Regulation 883/2004 and bilateral social security agreements between Norway and another country. In this context, choice of law means that one decides which country’s legislation on social security rights applies to an individual when he/she moves across the EU/EEA borders to live or work. It is in the choice country of law the applicant has his rights (to benefits) and duties (pay fee).
