The data provides an overview of recorded records of industrial minerals, natural stone and metal resources. The mineral resource data contains both area and bullet entries for all three groups. The data set provides an overview of documented instances (valued areas; occurrence/deposit), prospective areas (areas with a high probability of finding economically interesting minerals; prospectus/prospect), records in which there have been observed and/or analysed elevated values of economically interesting minerals (registration/occurence) and provinces (areas with opportunities for discovery of given minerals; province/province. Registrations may contain little or a lot of information. The documented occurrences contain an assessment of public importance; international, national, regional, local, little or none considered. The data has been collected over a long period of time and is continuously updated according to priorities.
