Dataset description

This fullform pronunciation lexicon for Norwegian Bokmål was developed by the Norwegian Library of Talking Books and Braille (NLB) for use in Filibuster, NLB's text-to-speech system. The lexicon is based on the pronunciation lexicon of Nordic Speech Technology (NST). The download also includes a Norwegian Nynorsk lexicon with automatically generated transcriptions based on Norsk ordbank. The idea behind this lexicon was to improve the Nynorsk pronunciation of NLB's speech synthesis Brage.
