Dataset description

Due diligence areas for rock leaps are a national map series that shows potentially rock-scattered areas at the overview level. The maps show potential loosening areas and outlet areas for rock leaps.\\nIt is made note that the areas covered by release areas in practice are also outlet areas, as landslides that loosen at the very top of a release area move through below-ground release areas before reaching the outlet areas below. When using the data set for analysis purposes, as a general rule, both release areas and outlet areas should be used together.\\nActive areas are identified using a computer model that recognises possible loosening areas for rock leaps from slope on terrain and geological information. From each source range, the stone leap outlet area is calculated automatically. No field work has been done by identifying or demarcating the areas.
