Dataset description

The strategic noise maps show the noise situation from road traffic at the turn of the year 2016/2017 for the largest urban areas in the country and also along the national and county roads where it passes more than 8200 vehicles per day. The urban areas included in the survey are: • Oslo, with neighbouring municipalities Asker, Bærum, Skedsmo, Lørenskog and Rælingen The mountains • Stavanger, with neighbouring municipalities Sandnes, Randaberg and Sola Trondheim Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg The data set is not updated, but is re-manufactured every 5 years.
