Tjenesten inneholder elementene i overføringsnettet(regional- og sentralnett): høyspentlinjer, master og stolper, transformatorstasjoner og sjøkabler. Områdekonsesjonær/everksområde viser forsyningsområdene til landets everk/nettselskap. Everket har konsesjon til å bygge og drive distribusjonsnett i sitt everksområde, og har tilknytningsplikt i dette området. Everksområder var tidligere en del av WMS-tjenesten "Kraftanlegg" som ble avsluttet 01.01.16.
