Utilisation rates and amounts of access to medical consultations by the registered population, showing the proportion of registered users who had medical consultation in primary health care in the period under review. **Formula:** 1. Overall utilisation rate of medical appointments -1 year = (numerator/denominator) * 100 2. Nº Users at least 1 face-to-face or non-face-to-face medical consultation — 1 year = numerator 3. Utilisation rate of medical appointments — 3 years = (numerator/denominator) * 100 4. Users with at least 1 medical consultation in 3 years = numerator 5. 1-year metrics are accumulated from the beginning of the year under review to the indicator’s reference date. 6. Metrics at 3 years are accumulated from the beginning of year n-3 to the reference date of the indicator. (ex: analysis of the month Jun-2015, corresponds to the accumulated from Jan-2013 to Jun-2015). **Remarks:** * In calculating the metrics of this indicator, the Vitacare system queries were not considered. Due to technical issues, for the November 2016 records, the data do not include records from the LVT Health Region. * Data for this indicator are temporary for the most recent published month. As a rule, on the last day of month N+ 1 (N=“last published month”), there will be an update of them and their increase is likely to be increased at national level.
