General State Account — Revenue by economic classification

From the General Account of the State (CGE) for 2021, the CGE is delivered to the Assembly of the Republic by the 15th of May of the year following which it reports. The respective data are made available during the month following that delivery, i.e. in the course of June. The data sources are the systems of the Directorate-General for Budget. The data are presented from a consolidated and public accounting perspective — i.e. they include revenues receivable in the year — not including out-of-budget transactions. Economic classification is a regulatory framework for monitoring from an economic perspective the implementation of government revenues. The classifier of public revenue specifies them by chapters. The data cover all public entities integrated into the perimeter of the Central Administration each year.
