Integrated Landscape Management Areas

Integrated Landscape Management Areas of Continental Portugal. It consists of the representation of the delimitation of the Integrated Landscape Management Areas (AIGP) published in the Diário da República, in accordance with the Landscape Reconversion Legal Regime, and referred to in the National Territorial Information System (SNIT). The purpose of AIGPs is to promote the common management and exploitation of agricultural and forestry spaces in mini-fundium and high fire risk areas, with the aim of ensuring greater fire resilience and improving ecosystem services, promoting the revitalisation of these territories and adaptation to climate change.
