REA 2005 — State of the Environment Report 2005

The OER is a tool to support the definition, implementation and evaluation of environmental policy, accompanying the integration of the environment into sectoral policies, thus having a key role in the communication of the country’s environmental performance. Like the 2004 REA, the 2005 REA is structured into key indicators, translating the REA in its version synthetic or condensed. This report format will periodically be mid-term with the OER in an extended version and more descriptive (e.g. REA 2003). This alternation of reporting format reflects practical and methodological needs, associated with the information provided by this type of instrument.
