SRUP — Classified Public Water Albufeiras

Servitude and Restriction of Public Utility (SRUP) — Classified Public Water Albufeiras, in force in mainland Portugal. The Classified Public Water Albufeiras are a servitude and restriction of public utility. The legal regime for the protection of public service water reservoirs and public water lakes and ponds is provided for in Decree-Law No 107/2009 of 15 May 2009. Public service water reservoirs must be classified in the types of protected use reservoirs, conditional use reservoirs and free-use reservoirs. The geographical information provided through the respective web services was produced by the DGT and other official entities, from information legally deposited in the National Territorial Information System (SNIT) related to the delimitation of the Albufeiras of Classified Public Waters. It includes representation of the serfdom zone at reservoirs and the representation of 1st order rivers.
