Dataset description

Servitude and Restriction of Public Utility (SRUP) — Pipelines and Pipelines, in force in mainland Portugal. Pipelines and pipelines constitute a servitude and restriction of public utility and are included within the scope of infrastructure. Pipelines and pipelines, for the purposes of public interest for which they are intended, by the inherent and foreseeable risks of the operation of installations and hazards to man and the environment, justify the existence of a system of servitude. It is understood that the servitudes due to the passage of fuel gas installations comprise land and subsoil occupancy and underground gas/oil pipelines must be installed at the depth determined by the regulations and their safety technical standards. These services also include the right of passage and temporary occupation of land or other property due to the needs of construction, surveillance, conservation and repair of all equipment necessary for the transport of gas. The geographical information provided through the respective web services was produced by DGT and other official entities, from information legally deposited in the National Territorial Information System (SNIT) concerning the delimitation of the servitude of pipelines and pipelines.
