Dataset description

The Mission Structure of the Fifth Centenary of the First Journey of Circum Navigation (EMCFM) was [created by the Council of Ministers in 2017](https://arquivo.pt/wayback/20190907111108/https://www.portugal.gov.pt/pt/gc21/comunicacao/noticia?i=20170119-mm-fmagalhaes). Between 2019 and 2022, EMCFM developed a program of celebrations promoting collaborations with various entities and services. This is the contribution of Arquivo.pt (FCT, I.P.): the recording of thematic contents about Fernão de Magalhães and the demonstration of its use for institutional memory through a “travel in time”. In this way, it is expected that content about Magalhães will be more present in the Web archive and will be useful for the future, bearing in mind that many pages in the meantime will disappear from the Web.
