Social services licensed under Law no. 197/2012

The register shall contain information on the name of the supplier, the name, address and capacity of the service, as well as information on the date of issue of the operating licence. According to Law No 197 of 1 November 2012 on quality assurance in the field of social services, social services can operate on the territory of Romania only if they have an operating licence. In order to apply for the licensing of social services, the provider must hold an accreditation certificate as a provider of social services. The registration of licensed social services in the Single Electronic Register of Social Services shall be made on the date of issue of the provisional operating licence (valid for 1 year) and shall be supplemented subsequently with the data on the granting of the operating licence. The operating licence is issued for a period of 5 years for all types of social services.
